About The Festival

The "Children's Film Festival" has been operating in Australia and New Zealand since 1992. The festivals provide a few pleasant hours for youngsters, who through no fault of their own aren't afforded the usual joys of childhood. 

The children are entertained by clowns as they arrive at the cinema and each child receives complimentary popcorn and a drink before being seated to view a current family movie.

The Promoter of the Festival organises free buses for those without transport. For some children it is the first time they have been to the movies.
Over the years hundreds of thousands of children have attended "Children's Film Festivals" throughout Australia and New Zealand.
